Safeguarding & welfare

Nothing is more important to us than the safety and wellbeing of the children at Meadow Bank.

  • Our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) is Chantel Horsbrough.

  • Our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads are Kirsty Todd, Waseem Ahmad, Bev Sutcliffe, Jo Dooling.

  • Our governor with responsibility for safeguarding is Tracy Isherwood (Chair of Governors).

What should I do if I have a safeguarding concern?

Keeping children safe is everyone’s responsibility. If you believe a student at Meadow Bank is at risk of abuse YOU MUST report it. Please call or email the school and ask to speak to a member of the safeguarding team.
